154MM OF TRAVEL
FULL CARBON FRAME
MAIN FRAME AND REAR END MANUFACTURED USING EPS-TECHNOLOGY
The rear end offers 154mm of travel – using the newly-developed DT Swiss R414 damper
The Linkin Trail Long Travel, big brother to the Linkin Trail Classic, is your first choice for tough terrain and high speed. Thanks to the optimised bellcrank, the custom-designed tail-end kinematics and longer damper stroke, when combined with a 29er wheel the Long Travel achieves an impressive 154 mm of rear suspension travel.
Inside the frame there’s the newly-developed R414 damper. This was created in close collaboration with DT Swiss and is built by them specifically for the LT. It enables the bike to tame even the most demanding downhill trails, but thanks to the system’s neutral impact on power transmission and the three suspension modes (controlled from the handlebars), it’s also a fine uphill ride. Up front there’s a choice of 150 mm or 160 mm fork, and a relaxed steering angle, meaning that the Linkin Trail LT stops at nothing.
For an extra-elegant appearance, all the cabling – including that for the telescopic saddle – is run internally.
Our “oneplus” wheel/frame concept, where we led the cycling world by making it for the first time possible to fit either 27.5″+ or 29″ wheels and tyres on the same frame, means that the bike is equally at home with both options. Again, your choice – and this freedom extends to how your bike is spec’ed: our online-configurator lets you specify exactly how you want it. Your Linkin Trail LT will then be custom-built in Lengnau, Switzerland just for you.
A frame concept has been developed that delivers a new level of functionality and design. The bike embodies both style and cutting-edge engineering innovation. An individualist’s choice – the bike for rough riders!
